Pastor Jeff Torrence Sr. Jeff Torrence is the "Ron Kenoly" of NLC. As one of our ordained Ministers, Jeff has Pastored in Adak, Alaska. He also aptly ministers in the Word, plays guitar and leads us in worship. Jeff has a passion for the moving of God's presence in our worship, is a Management Supervisor in a local manufacturing facility and is also a Commander in the U.S. Navy. Cynthia has a sweet soft spoken spirit and works with our ladies ministry.
Pastor Ray Young Ray & Dolly Young have been a part of NLC for over 15yrs. Dolly is our Children's Church pastor. Ray, who holds a Master's degree in Education, is also a Professor at BGSU in Huron, and has been in the field of education for 20+ years. Ray is also one of our ordained Ministers with Pastoral experience. Dolly, his wife, is caring, warm and doesn't know a stranger!
Nick & Kathy Hoty Nick and Kathy Hoty have a special ministry to married couples. Nick is an ordained Minister at Large here at NLC. He and Kathy have successfully helped many married couples joyfully enhance and renew their marriage.
Sonny & Lisa Dorsey Sonny serves on our Leadership Team as a Deacon and Prayer Leader while Lisa directs the Praise Dance Team.
Pastor's Administrative Asst. - Carmen Wallace Carmen Wallace has been with NLC for a number of years and currently serves as Pastor's Administrative Asst and Sec'y Treasurer. If it gets done right, Carmen probably organized it! Her husband Joe is also part of our Leadership Team and oversees our Ushers.
Sr. Pastor John Adams & Diane Our Senior Pastor, John Adams, and his wife Diane have three sons, Josh, Jason and Jesse. Pastor Adams has served NLC since 1997 and previously pastored for 13 yrs. in Sheffield Lake, Ohio. He graduated with honors from Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN with a Th.B. and also a Masters in Practical Ministry (M.P.M) from Wagner Leadership Institute in Colorado Springs. He tells us that he enjoys pastoring and thoroughly appreciates the congregation of NLC. A man of vision, Pastor Adams consistently challenges us to reach our community for Jesus Christ. Sis. Diane demonstrates sweet strength with her soft-spoken manner and dedication to serving God and others. Pastor John is also the Chaplain for the Erie County Sheriff's Office.
Ryan Lane is the newest addition ot our staff. Ryan serves as NLC's Youth Pastor. He is s pastor with a passion! Ryan does an excellent job working with our youth. He is also an accomplished musician and we are delighted to have Ryan as part of our full-time staff.
