NLC's History What We Believe Services NLC Purpose Statement Touching People; Changing Lives
This is the NLC Master Vision. This booklet is our attempt at "writing the vision and making it plain" (Hab. 2:2) If you desire to know what kind of church we desire to be and how we want to relate to people who visit or who desire to become members, then this booklet answers many of those questions. This little booklet is written in the hopes that everyone would be able to understand where we are headed as a local church body. As with any long term plan, there will be things that are not yet accomplished. What you find here is a lofty goal indeed. However, we believe that our ministry team along with the wonderful folks who make up NLC, and certainly with the help of the Lord, we can accomplish what we have in our hearts to make a difference in the lives of people and our community!
"We call vision the Breakfast of Champions! At NLC we believe in removing any obstacle that hinders people from receiving the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire for people to be impressed with the way our yard looks, the upkeep of our building, the extraordinarily friendly way they are greeted by our ushers, including being escorted with an umbrella when it's raining outside, and yes even our restrooms! Our vision is to have a children's ministry that is so loved and enjoyed by kids that they will beg their parents to come back. Guess what, it is happening now! Our vision is for people to know that we care so much that they will care about what we know and ask us questions as to why we seem so different. |
